Radical Islamic law offers only one potential choice to the “enemies” of Islam: convert or die. There is no negotiation, and no compromise. And radicals will utilize any tactics and strategies from civil abuses to violent outbursts to get their point across.
In September 2005, deadly Muslim riots broke out across Europe following the publication of cartoons portraying Mohammed as a terrorist. This could have been the ideal opportunity for western society to staunchly defend the values of freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Instead, nations including Poland, Britain, New Zealand and the United States responded to the riots and fatwas (death threats) with apologetic statements questioning our own western morals and ethics.
Also in late 2005, violent Muslim riots erupted across France. France has been widely considered one of the most liberal European democracies for the past several centuries. The riots exposed Western European societies as woefully unprepared for the after-effects of massive immigration and the steady growth of Muslim populations.
France and other countries with growing Muslim populations have begun to experience the birth of radical mosques, in their own cities, encouraging and organizing aggressive militant action, and the dissemination of poisonous propaganda.
Today, Muslims take advantage of Western legal systems by issuing declarations against enemy individuals or entities in the form of lawsuits.
In particular, defamation lawsuits are common against anyone who speaks out in Western society against the threats of Radical Islam. These tactics and strategies, commonly referred to as “lawfare” are used to stifle any opposing perspectives, viewpoints, or actions.
Radical Muslim organizations and individuals are expertly trained to manipulate democratic liberties and hijack the intentions of Western legal systems.
Allowing extremists to abuse our western freedoms is helping Radical Muslims undermine Western society.
