Just like signing up for e-mail an alert, Google provides a free service to send you an email alert when a specified subject, event, or news item crosses its radar. Go to www.google.com/alerts and follow the instructions to receive alerts about any topic.

Several suggested terms for Google Alerts include: Radical Islam, Sharia law, honor killings, female genital mutilation, jihad, etc.
